Megan Dowd had built a reputation as the go-to brand coach and copywriter for “enthusiastic overthinkers” – people brimming with ideas but stuck on how to articulate them. Her old brand carried plenty of wit, but it didn’t quite match the confident, values-driven leader she’d become. Megan needed an identity that embodied her bold, candid energy while making space for her clients’ voices to shine.
The new MD&Co identity brings together sleek editorial polish with a playful spark. Strong wordmarks anchor the brand with clarity and confidence, while expressive accents highlight Megan’s personality. At the heart of the palette is the signature Chilli orange: fiery, warm, and a little mischievous. It adds a hit of playfulness that keeps the editorial look from ever feeling too serious.
Custom service badges, learning style icons, and quirky cut-out photography extend the brand beyond words, giving Megan a toolkit to visualise concepts that could otherwise stay abstract. Nostalgic props like roller skates, typewriters, and rotary phones nod to Megan’s theatrical background while reinforcing her knack for making communication feel human, tangible, and fun.
The result is a brand that speaks with bold clarity – polished, confident, and impossible to ignore, with a spark of playful creativity at its core.
